Screensaver Warning!

The sim does not make a good screen saver in its default state because large areas of the screen remain unchanged for long durations.  This means you could get screen burn on the high contrast areas.  Screen saver mode for me would mean a combination of random incoming gate events and an automatic page rotating system so the whole screen area would constantly keep changing.  It's far better to wait for the proper thing to be implemented then risk damaging your display device.
